Holes
Holes is about a boy named Stanley who is accused of stealing sneakers. In the story, he gets sent to camp green lake, where he has to dig holes in the (used to be) lake. They have to be 5 ft wide and 5 ft deep. There are a lot of amazing things that happen in the story. Like, the warden (who actually is a lady) has nail polish made from rattle snake venom. Stanley finds a gold tube that has K.B on the bottom (Kate Barlow). Kate Barlow once robbed Stanley's great grandfather, back then people called her Kissin Kate Barlow because she only kissed the people she killed. Luckily enough, Stanley's great grandfather was not one of those people! Stanley's no good dirty rotten pig stealing great great grandfather was cursed by a lady called madame Zeroni because he had forgotten to carry her up the hill where the stream ran upwards!
